During Creativity day pupils were involved in an Italian workshop acting a scene from an Italian Pizzeria. The Langtree Year 8 pupils showed and developed their skills in picking up a new language and adapting it to new context. Pupils had the chance to live a little of Italian culture and break the myth about traditional Italian food.
These videos have been uploaded on You Tube and the two videos with the most views will receive an Italian prize. The competition will last a fortnight.
Well done to all the pupils for being involved and motivated in learning a new language!
Year 8 pupils of participated in a fun, rewarding and intense Creativity Day workshop before Half Term which mixed the disciplines of Music, Dance, Spanish, Portuguese and now ICT and Business Studies as they try to market their video to gain as many of your views as possible over the next fortnight!
Pupils spent a lot of time and energy practising dance routines, lyrics and in some cases gymnastics routines to form the finished products and they should be extremely proud of the end result.
