Deciding what to revise can be feel like trying to climb a mountain. The important thing is to make a start and step by step you will get to the top. There are many ways to identify what topics to revise and to decide, which most need your attention.
Module Order (Current Year 10 & 11)
Firstly there is a module order to what you have been taught. This order will be different depending whether you are preparing for Higher GCSE Maths or Foundation GCSE Maths.

Your Maths teacher will teach all of the chapters needed before the relevant assessment, however they may chose to teach the units or chapters in a different order to the route map.

What went wrong in previous Assessments?
Each time a student does an assessment in KS4, their teacher will send them a link to a Google form, which will help collect information about their assessments. This information is collected in a spread sheet like this.
Look in Your Exercise Book.
The students exercise book is of course a great resource for revision and an effective list of topics that need revising. It is also encouraged that students write a list of topics that they got wrong in previous assessments in the back of their exercise book. This list should also form a list of topics that need revisiting.
