During National Anti-Bully Week 2013 Langtree’s Anti-Bully Ambassadors held two assemblies which focused on cyber bullying. We were also looking to recruit new Anti-Bully Ambassadors to the existing team. We were successful and recruited Ruth Buckley from Year 10, Alicia Mangiacapra from Year 8 and George Fry from Year 7. Senior Citizens’ Christmas Party

Santas’ Fun Run
Woodcote’s first ever Santa Fun Run took place on Sunday 1st December! It was fantastic to see so many people festively dressed in one place. We had over 55 Santas taking part and over 30 Little Helpers. We raised an amazing £650 so thank you to everyone that took part, and the local businesses for their support. It was a fun event and feedback has been very positive with many requests for another event in 2014 so watch this space! Continue reading

Music, music, music!
On Thursday 12th September all Year 7 students had the exciting opportunity to try out a whole range of musical instruments including the full range of brass: horns, trombones and tubas. The Oxfordshire County Music Service gave a great little concert which included audience participation and many Year 7 students bravely joined in with the band and enjoyed playing along. Hopefully many were inspired to sign up for lessons. Application forms can be collected from the Music department. Continue reading
